Wednesday Sketch Challenge - Sketch 306

Welcome to a new sketch from the MFT Challenge & Inspiration Blog. We're so glad you've decided to pay us a visit, and we hope that you'll be inspired!

Below you'll find Sketch 306. Create cards, scrapbook layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this week's sketch and be sure to link your project below for a chance at the weekly My Favorite Things Gift Voucher worth up to $20.

The My Favorite Things Creative Team has been busy getting creative! Let's see what they have up their sleeves for Sketch 306!

Handmade card from Anna Kossakovskaya featuring Birdie Brown Adventure is Calling stamp set and Paris Skyline, Snowfall - Horizontal, and Blueprints 29 Die-namics #mftstamps

Anna flipped the sketch in order to feature the Eiffel Tower on the tall rectangle of the sketch. Such a pretty and unexpected way to feature the Paris Skyline Die-namics! The Snowfall - Horizontal Die-namics adds a lot to this eye-catching design.

Join me in welcoming back Shemaine Smith as our Guest Designer this month! Let's see how Shemaine interpreted this week's sketch:

Handmade card from Shemaine Smith featuring Snowflake Flurry and Pure Innocence Dashing By stamp sets and Stitched Mountain Range Die-namics #mftstamps

Shemaine scooted the rectangle more to the middle of her card and popped up a mountain full of sledding fun for the cute girl from the Dashing By stamp set. This color combination is super fun with the sky full of aqua snowflakes!

Keisha turned the sketch on its side for this lovely fall greeting. The beautiful Stitched Flowers and Layered Leaves in autumnal hues look lovely against the Lined Up Dots background.

Handmade card from Vika Salmina featuring Chill Wishes stamp set and Die-namics, Downhill Slope and Snowfall - Horizontal Die-namics #mftstamps

Vika takes a literal approach to the sketch and features the cool penguin from the Chill Wishes stamp set skiing down a snowy white hill. The Snowfall - Horizontal Die-namics with the navy blue backing is a fun take on a wintry sky.

Handmade card from Jodi Collins featuring Deepest Sympathy stamp set, Etched Flower Background stamp, and Blueprints 1 and Blueprints 2 Die-namics, #mftstamps

Jodi's sophisticated card is as direct an interpretation of the sketch as you can find, and it is absolutely stunning. Black and white paired with tone-on-tone background stamping and subtle sparkle make this card a winner.

Handmade card from Barbara Anders featuring Soak up the Fun stamp set and Die-namics, Whimsical Waves Background stamp, Blueprints 27 Die-namics, and Herringbone Bricks stencil #mftstamps

Barbara takes the vertical rectangle of the sketch, and turns it into an ADORABLE aquarium filled with cute sea creatures. I love how her understated frame to the aquarium (created with the Herringbone Bricks stencil) is popped up OVER the fresh watercolor panel. Inspiring!

Handmade card from Torico featuring Hand Lettered Holiday stamp set, Oh Christmas Trees and Birdie Brown Polar Bear Pals stamp sets and Die-namics, Distressed Stripes Background stamp, and Stylish Snowflakes, Oval Shadows, and Blueprints 24 Die-namics #mftstamps

Torico created an absolutely dreamy background in cool purple, and to allow it to show, she simply softens it with a hand-stitched vellum rectangle. The Oval Shadows Die-namics perfectly grounds the festive tree and adorable polar bear.
