Let's take a look at more examples of designs showcasing a cute scene using products from My Favorite Things!

Making an outdoor scene is fun and easy with our many options for creating landscapes. In her design, Barbara created a grassy knoll with the Scenic Safari and Grassy Edges Die-namics. For the sky Barbara used the Puffy Clouds Die-namics and a sunny circle from the Blueprints 21 Die-namics. It's the perfect environment for the sweet little guy from the Playful Pups stamp set!

Stephanie created a vertical scene for her adorable wintry design. The Hit the Slopes Die-namics creates stitched hills, and Winter Trees dot the snowy ridges. Her gift-bearing young gentleman is comprised of the boy from Our Story, a hat from the Cooler with You stamp set, and a gift from the Merry Everything stamp set. What a fun collaboration of cuteness!

Anna created an adorable indoor scene with the Somebunny I Love and Our Story stamp sets. She also used three background stamps to add homey detail — the wallpaper is the Distressed Stripes Background, the floor is the Diagonal Chevron Background, and the blanket detail was created with the Lined Up Dots Background. She adds depth to her design with the Classic Window Die-namics allowing a peek at the pretty night sky.

Inspiration Friday - Inspired by New Year's Eve

As 2016 comes to a close, it's time to reflect and celebrate. Here's hoping your 2017 is an absolute delight!

I searched the web for a variety of images pertaining to New Year's Eve, and here is a look at a few of my favorite finds:

My Favorite Things has many fantastic products that will help you celebrate the glitz, glamour, and fun of New Year's Eve. Let's check out some super cool designs to inspire you!

Looks like Times Square has a prehistoric visitor for New Year's Eve on Amy's card! The You're Rawr-some stamp set and New York Skyline Die-namics create a festive scene with the absolute perfect sentiment for a celebratory evening.

The Layered Champagne Glass Die-namics set against swaths of color creates a festive design for the New Year. The sentiment from the Hand Lettered Holiday stamp set in black adds to the sophistication of this design.

Treat yourself to a bubble bath this weekend and celebrate the good things in life. Francine's design using the Time for the Bubbly stamp set oozes relaxation and self care. Wishing you much of that in 2017!

Kimberly's card matches the inspiration photos well with her chic and trendy New Year's design. The snazzy gold heat embossed background she created with the Winter Waves Background stamp shimmers against the black card stock and the perfectly placed sentiment and stars makes for a knockout of a design!

As 2016 comes to a close, it’s time to celebrate with a fun and festive shaker card. Stephanie used the Layered Champagne Glass Die-namics in conjunction with the Time for the Bubbly stamp set and Die-namics to create a sparkly New Year’s Eve card. I love how she added numbers in her shaker, too! You can see how she created this card HERE.

There's Still Time - Color Challenge 60

There's still time to participate in Color Challenge 60! Remember, you don't have to have the EXACT colors to play. Just use colors inspired by the ones you see below.

Add in touches of neutrals like white, black, or kraft, but challenge yourself to incorporate all four of the colors.

This challenge features soft colors to inspire you  Peach Bellini, Summer Splash, Tropical Teal, and Grout Gray.
Once you've created your card, you can add it to the InLinkz located HERE. You could win a gift card to the My Favorite Things online store worth up to $20. So I'm just gonna leave THAT right there!

A shout out to our challenge participants! We already have quite a few entries for this color challenge, but there is always room for more.

Let's check out a couple of fun projects submitted so far:

Flashy Florals stamp set and Die-namics, Stitched Jumbo Fishtail Banner STAX Die-namics - Ashwini #mftstamps

Oh my GOODNESS, I just love what Ashwini did with her background. She's stamped bits and pieces from the Flashy Florals stamp set in gray all over her card base, and then softened it with the clean white banners she created with the Stitched Jumbo Fishtail Banner STAX Die-namics. This design allows the colorful flowers in the colors of challenge 60 to shine.

Soak up the Fun stamp set - Donna Gourley #mftstamps

Donna Gourley created a cute under the sea scene with our Soak up the Fun stamp set. The colors of this challenge work really well with an aquatic theme.

OK, so what are you waiting for? If you've never participated in one of our color challenges, this is me officially throwing down a challenge! Let's see what you've got!
