You've Been Spotted - September 1, 2015

Each week we see fantastic projects featuring My Favorite Things product, and we're always so thrilled to see what our customers and followers are creating!

Today, we'd like to shine the spotlight on some awesome projects that have caught our attention in another edition of  You've Been Spotted. Sit a spell and get ready to ooooooh and aaaaah over some of the cool cards we've noticed recently.

If you see your project featured, feel free to post this image on your blog and link to this post to show the world that you were spotted by My Favorite Things!
This week all six of the cards have a tropical theme as my little way of saying good-bye to summer. It's hard to believe that Labor Day will be over this time next week!

Challenge Team Member Jill Dewey Hawkins spotted this Hawaiian dream of a card from Shemaine as one of the entries for our Wednesday Sketch Challenge. Shemaine recently returned from a trip to Kauai and quipped, " Anything I can do to keep my Aloha going is good for my soul."

Design Team Member Barbara Anders spotted Tammy's card on her blog. I love that Tammy shared that this card by Barbara herself was her inspiration! That is what it's all about — learning from others, stretching ourselves, and patting each other on the back for a job well done.

I spotted this pretty little thing as one of the entries for MFT Color Challenge 27. I love the gorgeous horizon line that DJ created! And fun fact: DJ used 13 dies and 9 stamps for this card, mostly from Polynesian Paradise. Very intricate and noteworthy!

Challenge Team Member Erin Lee Schreiner spotted this beauty by Debra on Instagram. She used the fun and frolicsome birds featured in the Birds of Paradise stamp set. Erin Lee says, "This is adorable with all the different birds and the watercoloring. The sentiment finishes it off perfectly!"

Design Team Member Kay Miller and I both spotted this adorable card by Wanda. I'm kinda dying over those pink pineapples in the background, and Kay says, "This card by Wanda is phenomenal!! Her colors are so bright and vivid and the tropical scene she has created is delightful!" Wanda created this card for Sketch Challenge #241.

I spotted Lindsay's glorious bouquet on Facebook. It's almost as if sunshine is bursting from the lush flowers. Her coloring on the leaves from Blissful Blooms is simply magnificent. One of my favorite things is that Lindsay drew inspiration from a beautiful dress to create this card.

Thanks for using MFT, ladies! You've left us inspired, and that's what it's all about!

See you tomorrow for the next Sketch Challenge, and look for a new MFT Color Challenge  next Thursday, September 10th!

Which design is your favorite? Be sure to leave these ladies some love. And who knows? You might be spotted sometime soon!
