You've Been Spotted - September 15, 2015

Each week we see fantastic projects featuring My Favorite Things product, and we're always so thrilled to see what our customers and followers are creating!

Today, we'd like to shine the spotlight on some awesome projects that have caught our attention in another edition of  You've Been Spotted. Sit a spell and get ready to ooooooh and aaaaah over some of the cool cards we've noticed recently.

If you see your project featured, feel free to post this image on your blog and link to this post to show the world that you were spotted by My Favorite Things!

Challenge Team Member Jill Dewey Hawkins spotted this pretty tropical card by Bhavana on her blog as part of MFT Color Challenge 27. Jill loved the fun pattern that Bhavana created with the Blissful Blooms stamp set. It totally pops!

To quote Design Team Member Barbara Anders, Debra's card is, "So creative!" I love the shading of her sun-kissed skin, and the cool effect Debra did with the waves kind of blows me away. Debra got inventive and created her surfboard using the Stitched Speech Bubbles Edges Die-namics. How cool is that? Her background was created using the Balloon Strings background stamp which she heat embossed and then dabbed with distress inks. Debra has entered this card in the Card Design Superstar Contest on the My Favorite Things blog.

I spotted Niki's cute card on her blog as an entry for Sketch 242. I love how she used the Wild Greenery Die-namics to create a tone-on-tone background. Niki says, "I used images from Polynesian Paradise and Tiki PartyLOVE, LOVE, LOVE these sets!" Um, not surprising, considering Niki is Hawaiian!

Design Team Member Kay Miller spotted Joy's card on her blog. Kay says, "I love the little green scene that Joy has created with the adorable Panda! The sponged circle is perfection!" Joy admits she had had a plan for quite some time of how she wanted to use the adorable Happy Pandas stamp set. To create her circle mask, she trimmed down a piece of masking paper to the same size as the white card stock, die cut the circle where she wanted it on the card front, and then blended the circle with two green inks. What a cool result!

Design Team Member Yoonsun Hur found EunJi's masterpiece on Instagram. Yoonsun was amazed by EunJi's fantastic coloring. Her adorable scene using the Harvest Mouse stamp set has me longing for the cooler weather of fall!
