Have you been bitten by the crafting bug? It certainly feels good to create, and we're SO glad that you are joining us here to fuel your creative fire!

Below you'll find Sketch 263. Create cards, scrapbook layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this week's sketch and be sure to link your project below for a chance at the weekly My Favorite Things Gift Voucher worth up to $20.

We're glad to welcome back Yana Smakula as our January Guest Designer here at the MFT Challenge & Inspiration Blog!

Let's see how Yana interpreted this week's sketch:

Count the Stars Card by Yana Smakula featuring the Laina Lamb Design Count the Stars stamp set and Die-namics and the Lucky Stars Die-namics #mftstamps

A sketch this simple really allows you the freedom to play. There's plenty of white space to experiment with. Yana creates a gorgeous watercolor background as the stage for Count the Stars stamp set and Die-namics and the Lucky Stars Die-namics.

The My Favorite Things Creative Team has been busy getting creative! Let's see what they have up their sleeves for Sketch 263!

Be Mine Card by Anna Kossakovskaya featuring the Birdie Brown Ewe Are the Best stamp set and Die-namics and Label Maker Love stamp set #mftstamps

Anna Kossakovskaya lines up her sentiment with an idyllic and adorable scene above it featuring the Birdie Brown Ewe Are the Best stamp set and Die-namics. The heart-holding cutie takes the place of the circle in the sketch but is situated on the the right instead of the left. So sweet!

You’re a Gem Card by Jodi Collins featuring the Bling It On stamp set and Diamonds Die-namics #mftstamps

Jodi Collins rocks the bling with a strong white on black sentiment as the top horizontal strip, and she grounds it with a jaunty striped paper below. The glittery Diamonds Die-namics takes her design to simply fabulous heights!

Winter Birthday Card by Kay Miller featuring the Birdie Brown Merry Christmoose stamp set and Die-namics, Label Maker Sentiments stamp set, and the Arrow Greetings and Let It Snowflake Die-namics #mftstamps

Kay Miller proves that Christmas stamp sets can get extra use as elements on winter birthday cards. Here she pulls the snow globe from the Merry Christmoose stamp set to stand in as the circle of the sketch. Then she has a blast creating a winter wonderland of fun with the Let It Snowflake Die-namics and a sparkly array of sequins.

Be Mine Card by Keisha Campbell featuring the Love You More stamp set, Straight to My Heart, Stitched Heart STAX and Heart STAX Die-namics #mftstamps

Gearing up for Valentine's Day, Keisha Campbell draws all the focus to the pretty pink heart enlarging the circle of the sketch. The strips fade into the background but add a grounding effect to the design. The heart and arrow in glittery gold (from the Straight to My Heart Die-namics) add the perfect touch of glamor.

Need to Venti Card by Stephanie Klauck featuring the Laina Lamb Design Perk Up stamp set and Hot Cocoa Cups Die-namics #mftstamps

Stephanie Klauck crafts up a warm and toasty greeting for a friend by envisioning the two strips as a patterned paper background to house the sentiment. The heart on the Hot Cocoa Cups Die-namics becomes the circle of the sketch. I can almost smell the coffee and imagine chatting with a good friend.

Got My ION You Card by Torico featuring the Laina Lamb Design Undeniable Chemistry stamp set and Chemistry Set Die-namics #mftstamps

Torico gets inventive with the straight edges of the sketch by adding delightful curves to her design using the Snow Drifts Die-namics. I think that sometimes we see the words snow drifts, and we get stuck looking at them as just that! Take a look at your Die-namics in a new light and expand the possibilities. That cool curve and fresh color combination certainly make this card featuring the Undeniable Chemistry stamp set and Chemistry Lab Die-namics look totally awesome!
