Wednesday Sketch Challenge - Sketch 267

February is filled with all kinds of things to celebrate — from Groundhog's Day to Valentine's Day to President's Day — there's always a reason to send a card, don't you agree? Let us inspire you with fun ideas for your card designs, no matter the holiday.

Below you'll find Sketch 267. Create cards, scrapbook layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this week's sketch and be sure to link your project below for a chance at the weekly My Favorite Things Gift Voucher worth up to $20.

Say hello again to Vanessa Menhorn, our Guest Designer this month!

Let's see how Vanessa interpreted this week's sketch:

Floral Birthday Card by Vanessa Menhorn featuring the Large Desert Bouquet stamp set and Die-namics, the Birdie Brown Birthday Bears stamp set, and the Zig Zag Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics #mftstamps

Instead of the tag you see in the sketch, Vanessa creates a pretty ombre effect on a rectangle and a small flag for the sentiment. The focus of her card is her stunning use of the Large Desert Bouquet stamp set and Die-namics in a lovely color combination!

The My Favorite Things Creative Team has been busy getting creative! Let's see what they have up their sleeves for Sketch 267!

Bright Idea Card by Barbara Anders featuring the Laina Lamb Design Watt’s Up? stamp set, the Lightbulb and Stitched Traditional Tag STAX Die-namics, and the Concentric Circle Grid stencil #mftstamps

Barbara Anders creates a brilliant design in yellow and black with the Watt's Up? stamp set and Lightbulb Die-namics. I love her use of the Concentric Circle Grid stencil to give the design a cool continual flow with the tag and background of the card.

Here for You Card by Inge Groot featuring the Pure Innocence Feline Better stamp set and Die-namics, Distressed Patterns stamp set, Lisa Johnson Designs Whimsical Wishes stamp set, and the Tag Builder Blueprints 1 and Lisa Johnson Designs Scribbles Die-namics #mftstamps

Inge Groot places her sentiment beneath the focal point, but the tag and strip from the sketch are all there. I love the adorable paper pieced dress she created on the little sweetie from the Feline Better stamp set. Inge uses such fun color combinations!

Amazing Floral Card by Kay Miller featuring the Amazing stamp set, the Large Desert stamp and Die-namics, the Winter Waves and Mini Hexagon background stamps, and the Inside & Out Stitched Rectangle STAX, the Inside & Out Stitched Square STAX, Leafy Greenery and Blueprints 2 Die-namics #mftstamps

Kay Miller gathers a glorious bouquet of spring flowers using the
Large Desert Bouquet stamp set and Die-namics. The addition of the white Leafy Greenery Die-namics and the intricate background stamping give this card such life and dimension. Simply breathtaking!

Always You Card by Keisha Campbell featuring the Distressed Patterns and Lisa Johnson Designs All Heart stamp sets, and the Stitched Fancy Flourish, Heart STAX, Pierced Traditional Tag STAX, and Inside & Out Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics #mftstamps

Keisha Campbell keeps it simple with pink and red paired with muted neutrals. She switched the orientation of the sketch by shifting everything to the right. Her simple pops of color with the Heart STAX and Stitched Fancy Flourish are quite divine.
Kiss Me Card by Stephanie Klauck featuring the Candy Jar Companions stamp set, the Lucky stamp set and Die-namics, and the Stitched Traditional Tag STAX, Stitched Square STAX, and Blueprints 21 Die-namics #mftstamps

Stephanie Klauck creates a cheeky card that follows the sketch quite closely. By using the Wild Prints Paper Pack, she makes a lot of impact in a jiffy with the help of the Stitched Traditional Tag STAX Die-namics. And that winking shamrock from the Lucky stamp set? SO cute!

Butterfly Floral Rhapsody Card by Yoonsun Hur featuring the Modern Blooms, So Much Love, and Distressed Patterns stamp sets, the Roses All Over Background stamp, and the tag Builder Blueprints 5, Flutter of Butterflies - Lace, and Blueprints 25 Die-namics #mftstamps

Yoonsun Hur's sketch interpretation is a work of art! I love how she created her background combining the Modern Blooms and Distressed Patterns stamp sets for an artistic feel. And the way that she interlaced the heart arrow inside the butterfly? Completely exquisite.
