Wednesday Sketch Challenge - Sketch 268

Happy mid-February! Are you feeling creative but also in the mood for some spring cleaning? Sometimes just a little clean-up in the craft room will get your creative juices flowing. In case you missed it, the MFT Creative Team spent last week sharing ideas for craft room storage and organization. You can check out their fabulous ideas HERE.

Below you'll find Sketch 268. Create cards, scrapbook layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this week's sketch and be sure to link your project below for a chance at the weekly My Favorite Things Gift Voucher worth up to $20.

Say hello again to Vanessa Menhornour Guest Designer this month!

Let's see how Vanessa interpreted this week's sketch:

Souper Cool Card by Vanessa Menhorn featuring the Birdie Brown Recipe for Happiness Large stamp set and Die-namics #mftstamps

This week's sketch has a perfect simplicity to it. A stripe and focal rectangle gives you free reign to create something fun! Vanessa creates a delightful background of pots, pans, and utensils using the Recipe for Happiness stamp set and features our favorite mustachioed chef in the focal position. It's souper cute, wouldn't you agree?

The My Favorite Things Creative Team has been busy getting creative! Let's see what they have up their sleeves for Sketch 268!

One Sip at a Time Card by Donna Mikasa featuring the Laina Lamb Design Stay stamp set and Cool Cup Die-namics #mftstamps

Donna Mikasa starts with a neutral stripe at the bottom and commands attention with that super venti cup of caffeinated deliciousness in place of the rectangle in the sketch. The bold white sentiment on dark brown really gives her design flair. All of a sudden I have the urge to go to Starbucks. Who's with me?

Happy Purr-thday Card by Julia Stainton featuring the Cat-itude stamp set and Die-namics, Polka Dot Background stamp, and the Laina Lamb Design Creative Clips and Blueprints 13 Die-namics #mftstamps

Julia Stainton takes the sketch literally and sticks with the stripe and rectangle of the sketch finding the rectangle the perfect place to showcase a sweet kitty from the Cat-itude stamp set and the most awesome and extravagant bow from the Creative Clips Die-namics! I love her fresh and funky color combination!

Birthday Gumballs Card by Julie Dinn featuring the Gumball Greetings Card Kit, and the Blueprints 1 and Blueprints 2 Die-namics #mftstamps

Julie Dinn creates a whole lot of colorful fun with the Gumball Greetings Card Kit which just made its debut last night! It's the perfect sketch for making a bunch of delightful cards. Switch up the colors and create a whole card set.

Time to Take Off Card by Kay Miller featuring the Out of This World stamp set and Die-namics, and the Stitched Cloud Edges and Blueprints 2 Die-namics #mftstamps

Kay Miller plays with the background of this simple sketch to create a fabulously blue sky and pristine white clouds. The rocket from the Out of This World stamp set and Die-namics appears to be ready to soar to the heights in this chic and uplifting card.

Way Amazing Card by Keisha Campbell featuring the Amazing and Distressed Patterns stamp sest, the Tropical Flowers stamp set and Die-namics, and the Leafy Greenery and Blueprints 22 Die-namics #mftstamps

Keisha Campbell sets the scene with a texturized background created using the Distressed Patterns stamp set. The hole-y rectangle from the Blueprints 22 Die-namics is just right for this sketch, and her fresh color combination gives this botanical design extra ZING.

Out of This World Card by Yoonsun Hur featuring the Out of This World stamp set and Die-namics and the Star Strips and Blueprints 25 Die-namics #mftstamps

Yoonsun Hur creates a galaxy of good times with the Out of This World stamp set creating a whimsical background for her design. Her stripe created with the Star Strips Die-namics continues the outer space theme, and the colorful rocket serves as a super cute focal point. Stellar job, Yoonsun!
