Inspiration Friday - Seeing Green

With St. Patrick's Day less than a week away, you might be drawn to the color green these days. Whether you celebrate the holiday or not, the appearance of fresh green brings the hope of spring with it. Today we're giving you the green light to create with various shades of green

Search for the word green on Pinterest, and you'll be soothed by the images you see there. The color green can represent harmony, renewal, and growth. Take a look at a few of my favorite finds from one such search:

I really am in LOVE with green. There were so many inspiring images, it was hard to choose!

Did you know that My Favorite Things currently has 17 shades of green card stocks and inks to use in your paper crafting pursuits? It's a rather dizzying array of greenness. You can check out a color comparison chart of our greens HERE.

Our design team has a knack for making some pretty gorgeous designs with the various shades of green from My Favorite Things. Let's take a look at five fabulous cards featuring green!

Thinking of You Card by Keisha Campbell featuring the Beautiful Blooms stamp set and Die-namics #mftstamps

Keisha added just a hint of green to her design with the Blissful Blooms stamp set and Die-namics. The pretty vase looks gorgeous set against the wood paper from the Tranquil Textures paper pack.
Cactus Card by Jodi Collins featuring the Laina Lamb Design Sweet Succulents stamp set and Die-namics, the Geometric Grid Background stamp, and the Stitched Rectangle Scallop Frames Die-namics #mftstamps

Logically, Jodi used Cactus card stock for her background paired with the cute image from the Sweet Succulents stamp set. The Geometric Grid Background stamp looks mighty delicious in green!

Spring Green Wreath Card by Jody Morrow featuring Lisa Johnson Designs Spring Wreath stamp set and the Stitched Square Scallop Frames Die-namics #mftstamps

Jody embraces the freshness of green in this glorious design using the Spring Wreath stamp set. The wreath was created with a wonderful combination of greens from My Favorite Things — Sour Apple, Limelight, and Jellybean Green. So pretty!

Lucky Card by Laurie Willison featuring the Laina Lucky stamp set and the Stitched Rectangle Frames Die-namics #mftstamps

Laurie is feeling lucky it seems with her frame of shamrocks created with the (aptly named) Lucky stamp set. Cool design, eh?

Rawr-some Card by Kimberly Crawford featuring the Prehistoric Fun stamp set and Die-namics #mftstamps

Kimberly goes super green with Dill Pickle card stock and a simple design. What a fun card for a cool boy in your life! The white dinosaur from the Prehistoric Fun Die-namics looks pretty dang awesome against that sea of green.

Before you go, take a look at a few of the fabulous green things you can buy at the My Favorite Things online store! Simply click on the photo to be taken directly to the product. If the product is currently out of stock, you can sign up for an email notification once it's back in stock!
