Wednesday Sketch Challenge - Sketch 270

Hooray, it's March! I'm thrilled to have longer days ahead and the promise of green and warmer temps. It's exciting to move into creating with the fresh colors of spring.

Below you'll find Sketch 270. Create cards, scrapbook layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this week's sketch and be sure to link your project below for a chance at the weekly My Favorite Things Gift Voucher worth up to $20.

Join me in welcoming Amy Tsuruta as our Guest Designer this month!
Let's see how Amy interpreted her first sketch with us:

Stuck With Me Card by Amy Tsuruta featuring the Laina Lamb Design Sweet Succulents stamp set and Die-namics #mftstamps
A tag is a terrific place for featuring some of your favorite stamps, and Amy does a lovely job showcasing the brand new Sweet Succulents stamp set. The glittery gold at the top of the tag is a super trendy touch!

The My Favorite Things Creative Team has been busy getting creative! Let's see what they have up their sleeves for Sketch 270!

Thank Ewe Card by Barbara Anders featuring the Birdie Brown Ewe Are the Best stamp set and Die-namics, the Sun Ray stencil, and the Pierced Traditional Tag STAX, Puffy Clouds, and Blueprints 24 Die-namics #mftstamps

Barbara features the Ewe Are the Best stamp set on her tag. I love how she played with the background by using the Sun Ray stencil. What a lovely breath of fresh air!

Prehistoric Card by Inge Groot featuring the Distressed Patterns stamp set, the Prehistoric Fun stamp set and Die-namics and the Stitched Traditional Tag STAX Die-namics #mftstamps

Inge creates a fun masculine card from the stone age featuring the brand new Prehistoric Fun stamp set and Die-namics. The splotches created with the Distressed Patterns stamp set add the perfect touch to this cute and grungy card.

For Being You Card by Jodi Collins featuring the Kind Thanks stamp set, the Geometric Grid stencil, and the Twice the Thanks, Stitched Traditional Tag STAX, Blueprints 2, Blueprints 8, and Blueprints 13 Die-namics #mftstamps

Jodi dreams up a delicious ombre background with the brand new Geometric Grid stencil. It's a striking contrast to her stark white tag and the sparkly sentiment created with the new Twice the Thanks Die-namics. And the black flag mimics the sketch exactly.

You Are Stuck Card by Julie Dinn Laina Lamb Design Sweet Succulents stamp set and Die-namics and the Traditional Tags STAX, Blueprints 1, Blueprints 2, and Blueprints 27 Die-namics #mftstamps

Like Amy, Julie incorporates the Sweet Succulents stamp set in her design. Her additions of burlap and hemp cord give her card awesome touches of texture .

Birthday Tweetings Card by Kay Miller featuring the Blissful Blooms, Sweet Safari, and Tweet Friends stamp sets and Die-namics, the Geometric Grid Background stamp. and the Stitched Rectangle Scallop Frames, Blueprints 2, and Blueprints 26 Die-namics #mftstamps

Kay's dreamy tag is too "tweet" for words. With pretty scallops, lovely flowers, and a sweet birdie from the new Tweet Friends stamp set, she concocts a delightful design. The neutral background was created with the new Geometric Grid Background stamp.
