Inspiration Friday - Inspired by the Run for the Roses

Next Saturday is the running of the 142nd Kentucky Derby — also known as The Run for the Roses.

There's something captivating about the Kentucky Derby — green grass, majestic horses, colorful jockeys, outlandish hats, mint juleps, and roses. LOTS of roses! The Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports has a lot to offer whether you're a sports fan or not. The pageantry is bar none. There is MUCH to inspire when you watch the Kentucky Derby!

I searched the web for a variety of images pertaining to the Run for the Roses, and here is a look at a few of my favorite finds:

All of those glorious roses! And I'll take a mint julep (or two or three!), pretty please!

  1. Friday happiness! :) The pageantry is really iconic, isn't it? That rose hat is a hoot! Someone may need to sport one of those? ;) Enjoyable projects, as always, to bring it home. Cheers! *mint juleps* Clink! ;)
