Inspiration Friday - Inspired by Spring Rain

The arrival of April always makes me think of the phrase "April showers bring May flowers."

Many might find rain depressing, but there is a certain happiness to a good downpour. You can pull out colorful umbrellas and galoshes when it rains, and at the end of the storm, you might even spot a rainbow! I remember cherishing rainy days with puzzles, snuggles, and soup. Today we are celebrating the sweetness of a spring rain.

I searched the web for a variety of images pertaining to rainy days, and here is a look at a few of my favorite finds:

Oh, the JOY of dancing in the rain and playing in puddles like that first image. And that colorful canopy of umbrellas in Mexico makes me swoon!

My Favorite Things has some fun products that celebrate rain. Let's take a look at some awesome projects that will inspire you to create with rain in mind!

Barbara brings us this cheery card using the Sunny Thoughts stamp set. The addition of her watercoloring and the Radiant Sun and In the Clouds Die-namics makes this design shine!

Donna creates a pretty little ditty by using the All Heart stamp set and the Layered Umbrella Die-namics. I love the detail she created on the umbrella.

I love the wonderful and encouraging sentiment on this card from Barbara incorporating the Rainbow of Happiness stamp set and Color the Rainbow Die-namics. And the watercolored background with the Raindrops stencil is just delightful!
