Wednesday Sketch Challenge - Sketch 275

April is here! Spring is in full swing, and it's time to sit down and get creative!

Below you'll find Sketch 275. Create cards, scrapbook layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this week's sketch and be sure to link your project below for a chance at the weekly My Favorite Things Gift Voucher worth up to $20.

Join me in welcoming the amazingly talented Betsy Veldman as our Guest Designer this month!

Let's see how Betsy interpreted her first sketch with us:

Floral Hello Card by Betsy Veldman featuring the Build-able Bouquet stamp set and Die-namics, the Lined Chevron Background stamp, and the Hello There Die-namics #mftstamps

Betsy creates an absolutely stunning work of art pairing intense colors on stark white using the brand new Build-able Bouquet stamp set and Die-namics. I love how she interlaced the stem of the flower through the hello die-cut (new this month). The strip of color on the left was created with the Lined Chevron Background stamp. A lovely take on our sketch!

The My Favorite Things Creative Team has been busy getting creative! Let's see what they have up their sleeves for Sketch 275!

What’s Up, Dog? Card by Anna Kossakovskya featuring the Birdie Brown Lucky Dog stamp set and Die-namics, and the Basic Stitch Lines, Stitched Star STAX, and Blueprints 27 Die-namics #mftstamps
Anna's playful card features the new Lucky Dog stamp set and Die-namics. Instead of the circle of the sketch, she substitutes a bold gold star for a fun interpretation of sketch 275.

Floral For You Card by Julia Stainton featuring Gift Tag Greetings stamp set, the Upsy-Daisy, Homespun Stitch Lines, Stitched Circle Scallop Frames, Blueprints 13, and Blueprints 20 Die-namics, and the Concentric Circle Grid stencil #mftstamps

Julia's artistic rendition of the sketch switches the main elements to the left rather than the right showing the freedom any given sketch affords you. Sweet daisies and lots of layering and detail give her design depth and interest. The addition of sequins and cord add to the touchability of her design.

Fluttering By Card by Julie Dinn featuring the Lisa Johnson Designs Fly-By Friends stamp set and Die-namics, and the Dainty Scallop Cover-Up, Circle STAX Set 2, Stitched Circle STAX, Blueprints 2, Blueprints 18, and Blueprints 27 Die-namics #mftstamps

Julie's pretty butterfly from the brand new Fly-By Friends stamp set and Die-namics is the star of the show in her literal take on the sketch. The lovely background detail was created with the new Dainty Scallop Cover-Up Die-namics.

Tweet on You Card by Barbara Anders featuring the I’m Tweet on You stamp set and Die-namics, the Radiant Sun, Puffy Clouds, and Inside & Out Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics, and the Cascading Scallop stencil #mftstamps
Barbara uses the circular portion of the sketch to create a sweet scene using the I'm Tweet on You stamp set and Die-namics. I love how she tucked the Radiant Sun Die-namics underneath the circle to create a window look. She adds artsy detail to the card base with the brand new Cascading Scallop stencil.

Buzz-illion Thanks Card by Debbie Olson featuring the Lisa Johnson Designs Fly-By Friends stamp set, and the Inside & Out Stitched Circle STAX, Blueprints 15, and Blueprints 27 Die-namics #mftstamps

Debbie's happy yellow design focuses on a bunch of busy bees (from the Fly-By Friends stamp set) that she stamped repeatedly and colored to perfection. The bold black flag for the sentiment is hard to miss and draws your eye right to it.

Dog-gone Awesome Card by Kay Miller featuring Build-able Bouquet and Birdie Brown Lucky Dog stamp sets and Die-namics, and the Tree-mendous, Double Stitched Circle STAX, and Pierced Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics #mftstamps

Kay's shrinks the circle of the sketch but adds weight to her design with the delightful trees she created with the brand new Tree-mendous Die-namics. That sweet pup from the new Lucky Dog stamp set looks quite content sitting in the shade.
