Wednesday Sketch Challenge - Sketch 278

We're closing out April with an inspiring sketch with so many possibilities! It's linear and lovely all at once.

Below you'll find Sketch 278. Create cards, scrapbook layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this week's sketch and be sure to link your project below for a chance at the weekly My Favorite Things Gift Voucher worth up to $20.

Betsy Veldman, our Guest Designer for April, is back with one more project with us. What a pleasure it's been having her with us! You can follow Betsy at her blog Paper. Scissors. Superheroes. for more of her delightful designs.

Let's see how Betsy interpreted her final sketch with us:

Just Bepaws Card by Betsy Veldman featuring the Build-able Bouquet and Birdie Brown Lucky Dog stamp sets and Die-namics, and the Prairie Fence and Inside & Out Stitched Rounded Rectangle STAX Die-namics #mftstamps

Betsy backs her focal point with three strips of color as seen in the sketch, but she rounds the corners for a different look. How cute does the little doggie from the Lucky Dog stamp set look peeking over the fence amidst some pretty little flowers from the Build-able Bouquet stamp set?

The My Favorite Things Creative Team has been busy getting creative! Let's see what they have up their sleeves for Sketch 278!

Very Sweet Card by Julia Stainton featuring the Banner Greetings stamp set and the Banner Greetings, Stitched Strip, Blueprints 20, and Lisa Johnson Designs Sweet Treats Die-namics, and the Large Polka Dots stencil #mftstamps

Julia creates the illusion of three strips with her inventive use of the Large Polka Dots stencil. She also adds length to her design with the Stitched Strip Die-namics. It's a perfect fit for the Sweet Treats Die-namics!

Hello Friend Card by Stephanie Klauck featuring the Label Maker Love stamp set and the Friends, Stitched Fishtail Flag STAX, Stitched Rectangle STAX, and Blueprints 20 Die-namics #mftstamps

Stephanie sticks quite closely to the sketch with her interpretation. Her color choices make for a fresh design, and I love the sparkly Friends Die-namics backed with black to make it stand out. The hello takes the place of the circle in the sketch.

Hello There Card by Barbara Anders featuring the Distressed Patterns, Forest Friends, and Lisa Johnson Designs Whimsical Wishes stamp sets and the Hello There and Blueprints 15 Die-namics #mftstamps
Using one of the stamps featured in the Whimsical Wishes stamp set, Barbara creates the illusion of three strips with this linear look. Add in a few colors with the Distressed Patterns stamp set and a vellum strip to showcase the artistic background, and you've got a pretty nifty design!

Freaking Amazing Card by Keisha Campbell featuring the Amazing stamp set and the Mini Hybrid Heirloom Rose, Layered Leaves, Chunky Chevron Cover-Up, Horizontal Stitched Strips, and Vertical Stitched Strips Die-namics #mftstamps
The Chunky Chevron Cover-Up Die-namics gets a new look with a solid panel down the middle in Keisha's design. The Mini Hybrid Heirloom Rose takes the place of the circle in the sketch and looks all kinds of divine on this gorgeous card!

Your Birthday Flew By Card by Julie Dinn featuring the Distressed Patterns stamp set, The Birds of Paradise stamp set and Die-namics, and the Horizontal Stitched Strips, Vertical Stitched Strips, Stitched Rectangle Frames, and Blueprints 2 Die-namics #mftstamps

Instead of a circle, Julie chooses to feature one of the fabulous birds from the Birds of Paradise stamp set. Her juicy color choices add to the eye-catching nature of her design!
