Wednesday Sketch Challenge - Sketch 300

Welcome to our 300th sketch from the MFT Challenge & Inspiration Blog. We're so glad you've decided to pay us a visit, and we hope that you'll be inspired!

Below you'll find Sketch 300. Create cards, scrapbook layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this week's sketch and be sure to link your project below for a chance at the weekly My Favorite Things Gift Voucher worth up to $20.

The My Favorite Things Creative Team has been busy getting creative! Let's see what they have up their sleeves for Sketch 300!

Handmade card from Keisha Campbell featuring Essential Sentiments stamp set, Lined Up Dots Background stamp, Hello Beautiful, Heart STAX, and Blueprints 28 Die-namics #mftstamps

In her direct take on sketch 300, Keisha features a bold red heart and a neutral background using the Lined Up Dots Background stamp. The red sequins are the absolute PERFECT finishing touch.

Handmade card from Julie Dinn featuring Laina Lamb Design Cup of Tea stamp set and Tea Party Die-namics, Blueprints 2, Blueprints 13, and Blueprints 20 Die-namics #mftstamps

Instead of a heart, Julie features a whimsical stack of tea cups created with the Tea Party Die-namics. She also moves the sentiment to on the lower portion of her design to create balance. Cute!

What a pleasure it's been to have Julie Ebersole as our Guest Designer this month! You can follow her blog Paper Trufflez HERELet's see how Julie interpreted her last sketch with us:

Handmade card from Julie Ebersole featuring Chevron Grid Background stamp, Big Hello and Single Stitch Line Circle Frames Die-namics #mftstamps

A neutral background stamped with the Chevron Grid Background stamp is the foundation for Julie's design. It allows her citrusy color combination to take center stage. A Big Hello makes bold impact, and the addition of silver sparkle circles is, well, quite delightful!

Handmade card from Jodi Collins featuring Birdie Brown Happy Hedgehogs stamp set and Die-namics, Stitched Heart STAX, Stitched Fishtail Flag STAX, Blueprints 13, and Blueprints 20 Die-namics #mftstamps

Jodi has a heart for the Happy Hedgehogs, and two cuties frolic in the pretty pink heart on her design. The cute patterned paper creates quick colorful interest without a lot of work!

Handmade card from Donna Mikasa featuring Birdie Brown Penguins in Paradise stamp set and Die-namics, Stitched Arch STAX and Blueprints 24 Die-namics #mftstamps

Instead of a heart, Donna interprets the sketch with a cool circle for our favorite partying penguin. Remember, if a sketch has a shape, you can always swap that shape out for something a little different. That's the beauty of card sketches!

Handmade card from Karolyn Loncon featuring Fall Friends stamp set and Die-namics, Typewriter Text Background stamp, and Stitched Fishtail Frames, and Blueprints 15 Die-namics #mftstamps

When you look at the Fall Friends stamp set, your eye probably doesn't go immediately to the apple, but sometimes those little stamps can be the impetus for a fantastic design. Karolyn's loose interpretation of Sketch 300 is fit for a teacher who is making a difference. And I hear that gingham apples are EXTRA delicious.

Handmade card from Keeway Tsao featuring Birdie Brown Hog Heaven stamp set and Die-namics, Roses All Over Background stamp, Heart STAX and Blueprints 13 Die-namics #mftstamps

Keeway's cute take on Sketch 300 features a heart-toting swine from the Hog Heaven stamp set. She takes the adorability of that set to a different level by adding in the sophisticated pattern of the Roses All Over Background stamp. I am IN LOVE.
