Wednesday Sketch Challenge - Sketch 310

Welcome to our very first sketch of December! Let's embrace a new month of creativity.

Below you'll find Sketch 310. Create cards, scrapbook layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this week's sketch and be sure to link your project below for a chance at the weekly My Favorite Things Gift Voucher worth up to $20.

Join me in welcoming Emily Leiphart as our Guest Designer this month!

Let's see how Emily interpreted her first sketch with us:

Handmade card from Emily Leiphart featuring Birdie Brown Our Story stamp set and Star Grid, Stitched Peek-a-Boo Window & Edge, and Double Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics #mftstamps

Emily had fun creating this cute card for Sketch 310 using the brand new Our Story stamp set. She loves to read and says this is her new favorite stamp set. I love how she created the scallop in the sketch using the new Stitched Peek-a-Boo Window & Edge Die-namics and used the new Star Grid Cover-Up to partially dry emboss her focal point panel! To see how she created her card, you can watch a video HERE. Thanks for joining us this month, Emily.

The My Favorite Things Creative Team has been busy getting creative! Let's see what they have up their sleeves for Sketch 310!

Handmade card from Jody Morrow featuring Kind Words stamp set, Wavy Coloring Book Background stamp, and Kind & Kindness Die-namics #mftstamps

Jody incorporates cool hues with the fabulous and brand new Wavy Coloring Book Background stamp for the main panel of this week's sketch. And she finishes it off with a lovely sentiment using the new Kind Words stamp set and Kind & Kindness Die-namics.

Handmade card from Anna Kossokovskaya featuring Birdie Brown Hog Heaven stamp set and Die-namics, Stitched Sentiment Strips, Stitched Rectangle Scallop Edge Frames and Single Stitch Line Rectangle Frames Die-namics, and Circle Burst Stencil #mftstamps

Anna's scalloped border is shrunken for a daintier look, and she uses the small horizontal rectangle of the sketch to feature her sentiment and a cute little piggie from the Hog Heaven stamp set. The Circle Burst stencil adds some whimsy as a background on this pastel beauty.

Handmade card from Vika Salmina featuring Birdie Brown Our Story stamp set and Die-namics, Typewriter Text Background stamp, and File Folder Edges Die-namics #mftstamps

Instead of a scallop on the left, Vika uses the File Folder Edges Die-namics. It works so well with the puppy's tail and stack of books from the main scene overlapping it. The Typewriter Text Background stamp is a perfect complement to the scene she created with the Our Story stamp set and Die-namics.

Handmade card from Torico featuring Birdie Brown Polar Bear Pals stamp set and Die-namics and Iceberg Die-namics. Sending Hugs, Stylish Snowflakes, Stitched Scallop Edges and Double Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics #mftstamps

Torico's frosty take on sketch 310 features an adorable smiling polar bear in an icy setting replete with icebergs and a snowflake. This sweet card is sure to make you smile! The gingham and scalloped edge add to the charming nature of her design.

Handmade card from Julie Dinn featuring Kind Words stamp set, Wavy Coloring Book Background stamp, and Kind & Kindness Die-namics, Horizontal Stitched Strips and Blueprints 23 Die-namics #mftstamps

Looks like Julie and Jody were on the same wavelength with Sketch 310! Like Jody, she uses the Wavy Coloring Book Background stamp, but hers sizzles with warm hues. And like Jody she finishes it off with a lovely sentiment using the new Kind Words stamp set and Kind & Kindness Die-namics.
