Wednesday Sketch Challenge - Sketch 312

Welcome to a new sketch from the MFT Challenge & Inspiration Blog. We're so glad you've decided to pay us a visit, and we hope that you'll be inspired!

Below you'll find Sketch 312. Create cards, scrapbook layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this week's sketch and be sure to link your project below for a chance at the weekly My Favorite Things Gift Voucher worth up to $20.

The My Favorite Things Creative Team has been busy getting creative! Let's see what they have up their sleeves for Sketch 312!

Handmade card from Donna Mikasa featuring Birdie Brown stamp set and Die-namics and Horizontal Stitched Strips and Blueprints 29 Die-namics #mftstamps

Donna's sweet design is simple and a direct take on Sketch 312! Instead of the circle of the sketch, she incorporates one of the adorable yetis from the Beast Friends stamp set. The patterned paper in the background adds quick interest with not a lot of effort.

Handmade card from Barbara Anders featuring Lisa Johnson Designs Stars Above stamp set and Die-namics #mftstamps

Barbara uses the main panel of the sketch as a place to feature a pretty water colored night sky to enhance the stamps she's used from the Stars Above stamp set. Instead of a circle, she uses a star. Stellar idea, right?

Join me in welcoming back Emily Leiphart as our Guest Designer this month! Let's see how she interpreted this week's sketch.

Handmade card from Emily Leiphart featuring Feel Better stamp set, Somebunny I Love stamp set and Die-namics, Bedside Comfort and Blueprints 29 Die-namics #mftstamps

Emily's super sweet card features the Bedside Comfort Die-namics and one of the cuddly Teddy bears from the Somebunny I Love stamp set. The tray serves as the horizontal portion of the sketch, even though it's on a slant. The sentiment from the Feel Better stamp set is perfect for a delightful get well card. Be sure to visit Emily's blog to see a video of how she put this card together!

Handmade card from Anna Kossokovskaya featuring Birdie Brown Magical Dragons stamp set and Die-namics, Stitched Cloud Edges and Stitched Rectangle Scallop Edge Frames Die-namics #mftstamps

Instead of a straight across rectangle, Anna dreams up a sky of magical clouds as a background for the sweet creature from the Magical Dragons stamp set. I love how she added a pretty scalloped frame to surround the main panel of her design.

Handmade card from Julie Dinn featuring Doodle Blossoms and Kind Words stamp sets and Stitched Rectangle Frames and Horizontal Stitched Strips Die-namics #mftstamps

A lovely bouquet of flowers created with the Doodle Blossoms stamp set takes center stage on Julie's cheery design. The chunky horizontal rectangle is the perfect spot to highlight her meaningful sentiment.

Handmade card from Vika Salmina featuring Playful Pups and Birdie Brown Our Story stamp sets and Die-namics, Diagonal Stripes Background stamp, and Tag Builder Blueprints 6 Die-namics #mftstamps

The rectangular panel on Vika's design is merely a mention with a white-on-white popped-up panel featuring super cute stamps from the Playful Pups and Our Story stamp sets. Such a soft and pretty color combination!

Handmade card from Jody Morrow featuring Kind Words stamp set, Wavy Coloring Book Background, Stitched Rectangle Frames. Blueprints 13, and Blueprints 30 Die-namics #mftstamps

The Wavy Coloring Book Background stamp looks mighty superb in white on kraft in the main panel of Jody's card, and the addition of sophisticated black adds to the chicness of her design. The sentiment from the Kind Words stamp set is the perfect finishing touch.
