Tips, Tutorials, & Techniques - Watercolors

Watercoloring is a fantastic way to add beautiful washes of color to your projects - from pretty and pale to bold and vibrant. Whether you use our wide assortment of exclusive colors of Premium Dye Inks (our acrylic Perfect Palette and waterbrush trio make it easy - simply "mush" your ink pad on the palette and pick the color up with your waterbrush!) or pick up some of the intense drysheet watercolor pigments from Peerless, you'll love all the possibilities this technique provides.

One of the wonderful characteristics of Peerless Watercolors is the fact that they can be cut down to a portable size. On our Youtube channel, you'll find a variety of great Tips & Tricks, including an easy way to create a Watercolor Swatch Palette. Cotton Candy and Sour Apple Premium Dye Inks were used to create Julia's pretty watercolor backdrop. The Roses in Bloom Die-namics and Deepest Sympathy stamp set also feature prominently.

Barbara used Peerless Watercolors to create a simple wash of beautiful color that really sets of her Abstract Heart element!

Yoonsun went BIG using Peerless colors to bring life to our brand new Space Explorer characters. If you are as enamored of that set as we are, make sure to check the shop tomorrow, February 7, at 9 PM to purchase them yourself!)

Ready to do some watercoloring of your own? One of our Color Challenges would be a great starting point for your next project. Make sure to tag your next MFT project with #mftstamps - you might just be spotted!
