Welcome to another weekly Sketch Challenge!
Below you'll find Sketch 318. Create cards, scrapbook layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this week's sketch and be sure to link your project below for a chance at the weekly My Favorite Things Gift Voucher worth up to $20.
Join me in welcoming Karen Baker as our Guest Designer this month!
Let's see how Karen interpreted her first sketch with us:
Filling her card front with puffy clouds adds a ton of interest but is still subtle enough for Francine's snoozing kitten to shine!
Congratulations, nikki_mo! You are the randomly selected winner of last week’s sketch challenge.
You can view all the entries for last week’s challenge HERE.
What an incredible variety of looks this simple sketch inspired! Now it's your turn.
You have until Tuesday, February 7th, at noon EST to add your link and be eligible for the prize of up to $20 in MFT Cash to be spent in the MFT boutique. Winners are chosen at random, so everyone has a chance! A stump from Happy Hedgehogs serves as a perch for two adorable friends on Karen's project - what a fun interpretation of that horizontal sketch element. A minimal color palette equals maximum impact...a good reminder that sometimes, simple is best!
The My Favorite Things Creative Team has been busy getting creative! Let's see what they have up their sleeves for Sketch 318!
Beautiful blending, superb coloring, and a simple sentiment strip accented with a smattering of sequins are the defining characteristics of Anna's look.
Karolyn's bold look features vibrant colors paired with crisp black and white. She rotated the sketch 180 degrees to accommodate her design vision.
Filling her card front with puffy clouds adds a ton of interest but is still subtle enough for Francine's snoozing kitten to shine!
