Wednesday Sketch Challenge - Sketch 321

Welcome to another weekly Sketch Challenge!

Below you'll find Sketch 321. Create cards, scrapbook layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this week's sketch and be sure to link your project below for a chance at the weekly My Favorite Things Gift Voucher worth up to $20.

We are welcoming Karen Baker back one last time - HUGE thanks to her for joining us this month!

Karen's card is a great reminder that sketch elements are just suggestions for placement! Just because the sketch features a circular element doesn't mean your interpretation needs to. Rather than the circle, Karen used a partial piece of the Single Stitch Line Rounded Square Frames along with sweet characters from Friends Furever.

One way to add excitement to your looks is to break free of boundaries by extending elements beyond the borders. When you want to keep your card envelope-friendly, you have to break an interior boundary though which is exactly what Karolyn did with her branch element. Classic patterns in primary colors keeps the finished product light and fun.

Jody took advantage of our just-released Beautiful Butterflies Card Kit for most of the elements featured on her card. Here's another example of blurring boundaries with the placement of your elements. Centering a single butterfly in the circular opening would be beautiful as well though!

A stencil featuring a circular pattern was a great choice for Torico's look. Softly blended colors emphasize the radial design and highlight her adorable astronaut to perfection.
