Tips, Tutorials, & Techniques - Single Layer Savvy

One of the challenges of cardmaking is crafting cards that satisfy both our desire to create interesting, well-designed looks with meeting the need to keep our cards mailable — it's a tricky balancing act. Too much dimension, weight, or elements that extend beyond the borders of our card are all detrimental to that effort. There are a couple of ways to overcome this dilemma: use special padded or dimensional mailers (like our A2 Clear Card Boxes), or challenge yourself to keep your card as flat and lightweight as possible — which can be quite a fun and inspiring design challenge in itself!

Learn how to create a one-layer wonder using the masking technique by clicking the video link or watching below. For more tips and tricks, make sure to subscribe to our Youtube channel!
