Creative Construction with Blueprints: Peek-a-Boo Elements

We love Blueprints because they take the guesswork out of crafting beautiful cards (and tags!) in quick fashion when we’re short on time or inspiration. We also love them for their versatility and ability to be mixed and matched when we have the time and inspiration to create something truly unique. Our Creative Construction Challenge focuses on these attributes each month, challenging the team to either assemble a card based on one of the provided Blueprints sketches or design an original design combining elements from the featured Blueprints.

Surprise! A little hint at hidden elements kicks your cards up a notch. From a simple pop of unexpected color to an enticing peek of a full-blown scene, peek-a-boo elements add fun and excitement. Our collection of Blueprints features an abundance of peek-a-boo options and our team can’t wait to share some of them with you today.

Monochromatic on the outside with a tantalizing peek at the colorful scene concealed within — what a fun way to interpret this month's peek-a-boo challenge! The stitched flap panel included in Blueprints 30 is the perfect choice for some peek-a-boo fun with More Monsters — it even includes the stitched circle element Torico used to spotlight her marvelous monster.

There is so much dimension on Barbara's fancy flamingo card! Her layered sentiment pops with the addition of a fine feathered friend. The peek-a-boo chevrons from Blueprints 32 highlight pink polka dots — what could be better?
