Welcome to another weekly Sketch Challenge!
Turn each inspiring sketch into a mini work of art to add to your stash — you could also add $50 worth of brand new MFT to your collection! Now that is a win-win.
Below you'll find Sketch 386. Create cards, scrapbook layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this week's sketch and be sure to link your project below for a chance at the weekly My Favorite Things Gift Voucher.
MFT products are encouraged, but not required. We just want to see what this week’s sketch inspires you to create! You can enter your cards for this week's challenge in the Inlinkz Link Up at the bottom of this post.
Michelle used the large circle element on the sketch as inspiration for her shaker martini glass. She did add circle detail to the background of her card with the Basic Shapes: Circles stencil and a gorgeous blend of inks, layerig the circles to mimic the look of bubbles. A simple sentiment embossed onto a black card stock banner completes her birthday-themed design.
Barbara used the layout of the sketch to influence her ocean backdrop complete with embossed waves and stamped fish. The subtle detail of the dry embossed sun rays adds texture to the design while the brightly coloured mermaid adds a fun, playful look.
Layering the Mesmerizing Mandala Die-namics allowed Donna to create a large circular element that adds stunning detail and elegance to her card. Her embossed sentiment strip across the center of the design separates the colorful background with a heartfelt greeting.
Congratulations, M&Kcreate! You are the randomly selected winner of last week’s sketch challenge.
