The Birthday Project - Beary Happy Birthday

Despite different backgrounds, beliefs, and traditions, one thing we share that unites us and is worth celebrating is the birthday of friends and family. Recognizing the special day of someone you love with a handcrafted card straight from the heart is always a good idea and if stocking your stash with unique birthday designs is on the agenda, have we got the perfect challenge for you! 

Our monthly Birthday Project challenge features ideas for getting creative with your birthday card making. Our team is excited to share their ideas, and we’re ALL excited to see how the challenges inspire you!

We can bearly wait to see what you create in response to this month’s challenge! From itty bitty cubs to burly brown bears, you’re sure to find the perfect den for them on your next birthday look. Why not join us and add a birthday bear to your next card?

Torico created a subtle, yet bold inked background featuring the Circle Burst stencil before creating her scene. She die cut the main sentiment from the inked panel and layered it to give it dimension and help it stand out on her card.  We love how she added her sweet bear image peeking out from behind the greeting.

Donna used the same Wish sentiment on her card but gave it a completely different look by adding a bold blend of ink colors before adhering it to her white card base. She added a fun trio of Bitty Bears to dress up her large greeting and completed the design with a black & white strip of patterned paper for added contrast.
