It's great to have our May Guest Designer Lorena Cantó back with us again today!
Lorena is a fabulous stamper, but what I love about her style is the innate sense of joy she shows in the form of an A2 card. Somehow she injects a whole lot of energy into her designs that is utterly captivating! And this lady knows how to think outside the box when it comes to die cutting. Let's take a look at the inspiration she took from this week's sketch!
Lorena concentrated on the curve at the bottom of the sketch. I love what she did with it using the new Blueprints 25 Die-namics! Her margins fit the sketch as well, and what a beautiful garden she's created with the Buildable Blooms stamp set and Die-namics.
The Challenge Team approached this challenging sketch in some pretty inspiring ways! Let's take a peek of what they created this week.
Erin ramped up the trendy with this gold, neon, and flamingo concoction. Our new Cross-Stitch Circle STAX Die-namics serve as the perfect circle as seen in the sketch, and those Flamingo Die-namics sure are making a splash!
Jill obviously had a date with her manual die-cutting machine. Look at all of that glorious inlaying she did with the Build-able Blooms, Stitched Circle and Stitched Traditional Tag STAX, Blueprints 25, and Stitched Basic Edges Die-namics.
Miriam turned the sketch upside down in order to ground the super powerful super friend.
Turning the sketch at a different angle is always a fantastic way to survey your creative options!

Vera pieced together a gorgeous flamingo to serve as the focal point of this sketch. I absolutely adore how she created a scene on the tag. And what she did with the wing is absolutely breathtaking!
Veronica's take on the sketch puts our sweet girl from the Pure Innocence series at center stage using the brand new Heartstrings stamp set and Die-namics. The cross-stitched oval serves as the curve at the bottom of the sketch, but otherwise, Veronica was loose with her adorable sketch interpretation.
Congratulations, Elizabeth S.! You are the randomly selected winner of last week’s sketch challenge. You can view all the entries for last week’s challenge HERE.
