MFT and Simple Stories - A Wonderful Collaboration! Day 5

We've got one last day of creative inspiration from the  MFT Challenge & Inspiration Team and Simple Stories! We've so enjoyed this week teaming up for this fantastic collaboration filled with summer fun and creativity.

Simple Stories recently released four fun new collections: Summer Vibes, So Fancy, So Rad, and Stars & Stripes, and both our team and theirs will be melding these collections with the fine products from My Favorite Things

Let's take a look at three cards created with Simple Stories and My Favorite Things!

Beach Day Card by Jill Dewey Hawkins featuring the Birdie Brown Penguins in Paradise stamp set and the Cross-Stitch Rectangle STAX and Precious Polaroids Die-namics #mftstamps

Maybe your Saturday plans look a little like this? Jill pulls together a groovy summer card using the Summer Vibes collection from Simple Stories. With the help of the Cross-Stitch Rectangle STAX and Precious Polaroids Die-namics, she creates a fresh and fun Beach Boys-worthy card. I'm feeling some Good Vibrations. Are you?

Like a Sister to Me Card by Miriam Prantner featuring the True Friends stamp set #mftstamps

Miriam used the Summer Vibes collection, too, but look how different her card is from Jill's! She chose feminine elements, and by adding delicate touches like the doily, stitching, and the script font used in the True Friends stamp set, she achieves a super pretty and oh-so-lovely card.

Dear Friend Card by Susan R. Opel featuring the Lisa Johnson Designs Spring Tulips stamp set and the Blueprints 18, Blueprints 20, and Beautiful Bows Die-namics

The patterned papers in the So Fancy collection pair perfectly for all sorts of occasions. I called upon some staple Die-namics to create a thoughtful card for a friend. Beautiful Bows is a definite favorite, and the versatility of the My Favorite Things Blueprints Die-namics make building a card so simple!

A collaboration like this wouldn't be complete without a fun give-away, now would it? Be sure to leave comments on all of our MFT/SS posts this week (June 1-6) on both of our blogs for your chance to win. We will choose one winner to receive a $50 voucher from My Favorite Things and another winner will receive $50 worth of brand new product from Simple Stories. And that, my friends, ROCKS!

Stop by the Simple Stories online properties and tell them we sent you! It's a wonderful place to follow, comment, pin, retweet, like, learn, and linger!

The $50 voucher winner will be announced next Wednesday on our Sketch 232 post. Be sure to come back and see if it's YOU!

  2. Love these cards. All are so unique.
the diagonal lines on the cards, the jar sitting on a shelf (so often things are just sitting in space and not settled on something).
