Below you'll find Sketch 256. Create cards, scrapbook layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this week's sketch and be sure to link your project below for a chance at the weekly My Favorite Things Gift Voucher worth up to $20.

What a pleasure it has been having
Latisha Yoast as our November Guest Designer for the MFT Challenge and Inspiration blog. You can follow Latisha's blog Designs by Latisha Yoast HERE.

Each year at midnight on New Year's Eve, Latisha hosts a massive blog hop called Season's Givings. She realized that she had been blessed with lots of wonderful crafty things that she wanted to share with others. So she enlisted the help of a hundred friends or so and almost 20 manufacturers and came up with a blog hop full of wonderful prizes. Each stop along the way includes giveaways, and the bloggers and manufacturers ask nothing in return. Be sure to join her and the whole gang this year as the blog hop swings into its 4th year! If you would like to be a part of the blog hop this year, leave a comment here, and I will get you in contact with Latisha.

Let's see how Latisha interpreted her final sketch with us this month:

Cat & Fishies Card by Latisha Yoast featuring the Cat-itude stamp set #mftstamps

One look at this sketch, and you might think to yourself, "I don't have any feathers." But keep in mind that the feathers are a mere suggestion of what could be done. Latisha used stamps from the Cat-itude set in place of the feathers. There are five feathers and five images in Latisha's design. And I love how she alternated the fish colors and orientations like the feathers in the sketch. Pretty nifty!

The Challenge Team is at it again with inspiring creations. Let's see how they interpreted Sketch 256!

Stack o' Puppies Card by Alice Wertz featuring the Top Dog stamp set #mftstamps

Alice turned the sketch on its side and keeps the number five with four dogs from the Top Dog stamp set and her sentiment. The dogs are long like the feathers, right? And these dogs look so cute piled on top of one another!

Feathery Thanks Card by Erin Lee Schreiner featuring the Laina Lamb Design Accent It - Feathers and Arrows Die-namics and the Arrow Greetings Die-namics #mftstamps

Oh, look! Feathers! Erin Lee creates a colorful design following the sketch very closely with the Feathers and Arrows Die-namics. Her use of the Arrow Greetings Die-namics for her sentiment is a perfect fit with the feather theme.

Running Marshmallows Card by Jill Dewey Hawkins featuring the Homespun Stitch Lines and Toasted Marshmallows Die-namics #mftstamps

Jill jumps at the chance to be her punny self with this sketch. In place of the feathers, she uses the Toasted Marshmallows Die-namics to mimic the five elements in the sketch. Those wiggle eyes are hilarious!

Puppy Dog Kisses Card by Miriam Prantner featuring the Top Dog stamp set #mftstamps

Like Alice, Miriam piles four dogs from the Top Dog stamp set on top of each other. Great minds think alike, right?

Blessings Card by Vera Wirianta Yates featuring the Birdie Brown Harvest Mouse stamp set and the Fall Foliage stamp set #mftstamps

Vera takes the opportunity to feature the sweet mice from the Harvest Mouse stamp set in succession with her design. What we learn about this sketch is that it is the perfect way to use repetition in your design!

Joy & Cheer Card by Veronica Zalis featuring the Lisa Johnson Designs Trim the Tree stamp set and Die-namics #mftstamps

Veronica shows one last way to interpret this sketch. Five trees wouldn't fit, so she eliminates two to accommodate her concept. And turning the trees upside down like the feathers in the sketch wouldn't make sense, right? So all three remain upright. The ornaments on the tree hint at the dots of the sketch. A very pretty way to use the Trim the Tree stamp set and Die-namics!
