Wednesday Sketch Challenge - Sketch 285

Welcome to another wonderful Wednesday! Sketch 285 is a stripe-y extravaganza! You're gonna love it!

Below you'll find Sketch 285. Create cards, scrapbook layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this week's sketch and be sure to link your project below for a chance at the weekly My Favorite Things Gift Voucher worth up to $20.

The My Favorite Things Creative Team has been busy getting creative! Let's see what they have up their sleeves for Sketch 285!

Handmade card from Keisha Campbell featuring Lisa Johnson Designs Delicate Pretty Poppies stamp set, Bundles of Blossoms Background and Mini Hexagon Background stamps, and Horizontal Stitched Strips, Flutter of Butterflies - Solid, Stitched Rectangle STAX, and Blueprints 14 Die-namics #mftstamps

Keisha follows the sketch pretty closely, substituting a butterfly for the circle in the sketch. She adds much interest with color and Die-namics interspersed with background stamping and scallops. A veritable feast for the eyes!

Handmade card from Julia Stainton featuring Hello Beautiful and Fringe Die-namics #mftstamps

Julia's interpretation of Sketch 285 is beautiful and SUPER simple! Pretty colors and the Fringe and Hello Beautiful Die-namics do all of the work in this fabby design.

Handmade card from Torico featuring Birdie Brown Penguins in Paradise stamp set and Die-namics, Stitched Scallop Edges, and Stitched Cloud Edges Die-namics #mftstamps

Use the circle of the sketch to feature one of your favorite stamp sets like Torico did with the Penguins in Paradise stamp set! The red and white stripes and blue with white polka dots give this card a patriotic feel.

Handmade card from Anna Kossakovskaya featuring Because stamp set, Stitched Star STAX, Tag Builder Blueprints 5, Blueprints 27, Blueprints 28, and Blueprints 29 Die-namics #mftstamps

Anna takes a different approach to this week's sketch with lovely results! She incorporated lots of lovely little bits from several different Blueprints Die-namics in soft colors and finished it off with a sparkly star. Gorgeous!

Join me in welcoming back Angela Rivera, our Guest Designer this month!

Let's see how Angela interpreted this week's sketch with us:

Handmade card from Angela Rivera featuring Birdie Brown Hog Heaven stamp set and Die-namics, Fine Check Background stamp, Stitched Valley, and Blueprints 29 Die-namics #mftstamps

Angela chose to feature one of the cute heifers from the Hog Heaven stamp set in place of the circle. And the stripes of the sketch get a curve with the Stitched Valley Die-namics. Fun take on the sketch, Angela!

Handmade card from Donna Mikasa featuring Birdie Brown Penguins in Paradise stamp set and Die-namics and Fringe Die-namics #mftstamps

A penguin hoisting a tropical drink amidst colorful dots, stripes, and chevrons? Yes, please! I love how Donna incorporated several different patterned paper packs in her delightful design!

Handmade card from Yoonsun Hur featuring Tropical Flowers and Birdie Brown Hog Heaven stamp sets, Flutter of Butterflies - Lace, Flutter of Butterflies - Solid, Fringe, and Blueprints 29 Die-namics #mftstamps

Yoonsun uses the Fringe Die-namics to create a pretty lower half of her card to complement the gorgeous stamping she did at the top using the Tropical Flowers stamp set. The golden butterfly in place of the circle of the sketch is a lovely finishing touch!
