Wednesday Sketch Challenge - Sketch 313

Welcome to the last sketch of 2016! What a wonderful year of creativity it's been, and we hope to see more of you in 2017!

Below you'll find Sketch 313. Create cards, scrapbook layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this week's sketch and be sure to link your project below for a chance at the weekly My Favorite Things Gift Voucher worth up to $20.

Join me in welcoming back Emily Leiphart one last time as our Guest Designer this month! You can visit Emily's blog Art From The Heart for more inspiration. Let's see how she interpreted her last sketch with us:

Handmade card from Emily Leiphart featuring Kind Words stamp set, Birdie Brown Cool Cat stamp set and Die-namics, Wavy Coloring Book Background stamp, Kind & Kindness, Stitched Sentiments Strips, Stitched Rectangle STAX, and Blueprints 27 Die-namics #mftstamps

The panel of this sketch is made for all kinds of creative possibilities, and Emily took the opportunity to create a dreamy and colorful look with the Wavy Coloring Book Background stamp. The sentiment from the Kind Words stamp set paired with the Kind & Kindness Die-namics in a pretty sparkly silver make for a delightful design with the pretty kitty from the Cool Cat stamp set.

The My Favorite Things Creative Team has been busy getting creative! Let's see what they have up their sleeves for Sketch 313!

Handmade card from Torico featuring Lisa Johnson Designs Fly-By Friends stamp set and Die-namics, Stitched Cloud Edges, Stitched Rectangle STAX, and Blueprints 28 Die-namics, and Mini Chicken Wire stencil #mftstamps

Torico created a pretty panel by masking with the Stitched Cloud Edges Die-namics to complement the busy bees from the Fly-By Friends stamp set. I love how the Mini Chicken Wire stencil creates a beehive look, and the sentiment on red pops with its cheery sentiment.

Handmade card from Jody Morrow featuring Kind Words stamp set, Roses in Bloom, Stitched Sentiment Strips, Single Stitch Line Rectangle Frames, Stitched Rectangle STAX, Blueprints 13, and Blueprints 24 #mftstamps

The pretty Roses in Bloom Die-namics take front and center stage on this simply lovely design from Jody. For this card, the panel is left pure white to feature the rose and a simple sentiment

Handmade card from Vika Salmina featuring Chill Wishes and Birdie Brown Polar Bear Pals stamp sets and Die-namics, Snowfall Background stamp, and Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics #mftstamps

Vika eliminates the rectangular panel, but the large flag from the sketch is left in tact to feature images from the Polar Bear Pals and Chill Wishes stamp sets. What a perfect design for a winter birthday card!

Handmade card from Donna Mikasa featuring Laina Lamb Design Stay Cool stamp set and Cool Cup Die-namics, Stitched Sentiment Strips and Stitched Fishtail Flag STAX Die-namics, and Chevron Grid stencil #mftstamps

Donna features a delicious drink created with the Cool Cup Die-namics in place of the rectangle, and her sentiment from the Stay Cool  stamp set blends well with this delicious treat. The Chevron Grid stencil adds frosty interest to the card base.

Handmade card from Anna Kossokovskaya featuring Label Maker Love stamp set , Birdie Brown Strike up the Band stamp set and Die-namics, New York Skyline, and Stitched Oval Scallop Frames Die-namics #mftstamps

Instead of a rectangle, Anna frames her little scene featuring the Strike up the Band stamp set and New York Skyline Die-namics with the Stitched Oval Scallop Frames Die-namics for a different take on Sketch 313. What a delightful greeting!

Handmade card from Julie Dinn featuring Kind Words stamp set, Wavy Coloring Book Background stamp, Stitched Sentiment Strips, Fishtail Flags Layers STAX, Blueprints 2, and Blueprints 13 Die-namics #mftstamps

Like Emily, Julie features a sentiment from the Kind Words stamp set and a cool panel created with the Wavy Coloring Book Background stamp. What a fresh and pretty color combination for this striking design!
