The Birthday Project - Throw Confetti Like It’s Your Birthday

Despite different backgrounds, beliefs, and traditions, one thing we share that unites us and is worth celebrating is the birthday of friends and family. Recognizing the special day of someone you love with a handcrafted card straight from the heart is always a good idea and if stocking your stash with unique birthday designs is on the agenda, have we got the perfect challenge for you! 

Our monthly Birthday Project challenge features ideas for getting creative with your birthday card making. Our team is excited to share their ideas, and we’re ALL excited to see how the challenges inspire you!

Sure, it’s messy and you might be running across remnants long past the big day but you can’t deny the fact that confetti is FUN. Add it to a shaker, precisely place it on your card front, or tuck some into a pocket or envelope - there are so many ways to incorporate this birthday essential into your card making. Let’s see how you sprinkle it into your next birthday card design!

Inge created a summer-themed birthday card for this month's challenge and added a shaker element for the backdrop behind her stamped image. She combined sequin confetti with the Confetti Numbers to fill her circle shaker pouch and add a fun, interactive element to her design.

Bright, colorful confetti is the focus on Rachel's fun birthday card design - she created a large rectangle frame full of confetti for her background and added a stamped image and sentiment at the bottom to complete the look.
