It's a Banner Day for a New Sketch Challenge

It's starting to warm up a bit in FL, albeit our cold isn't really cold by most standards, and I am THRILLED. It must've been the beautiful spring palette from last week's Color Challenge.

Speaking of which...last week's winner is kimmieb16! Even though it was by random selection, I do really love her cute raccoon card. It definitely made me smile. =)

This week, we are back at it with a new Sketch Challenge, and it's a doozy! I can't wait to see how everyone interprets this one, and enjoy perusing your creativity. It's the most perfect way to start the day, don't you think? A cup of piping hot coffee and some extra sugar in the form of eye candy.

As usual, the cards from members of our DT are stellar, stunning, and spectacular!

Candice's super cute laundry card is truly SUPER cute. She added several little details that elevate her card to the extraordinary. Adding stars to the sky, color details to the clothing, and bows to the clothing line really make a difference. I always notice and enjoy the little details on things; I am immediately drawn to them. Are you?

Deborah's bright and cheery birthday card is adorable! I love that she matched the banner colors to the patterned paper she chose. I love it when the colors on a card are congruent. Then everything flows smoothly, and nothing competes.

Jeanne's hippo is a hip, hip, hop-a you don't stop dancing the hula. I love the floral banner at the top of her card. It screams of some beautiful, tropical location; a place I'd love to be visiting about now.

I have to say that I love Rebecca's pastel, muted little baby outfits! It's SO cute! I love that she and Candice both had the same train of thought, and yet the cards look quite different. Am I the only one who geeks out on handmade cards?

Are you up to the challenge? I hope you can carve out a few moments this week to enjoy a little creative time just for you. It is so soul-filling to me. Is it for you, too?

Have the greatest week!

Thank you!!! :) I had a lot of fun with this color challenge. I don't use purple enough so it was nice to find ways to pull that into the card.
