You've Been Spotted - October 9, 2018

Before we get to today's Spotted post, we need to announce the randomly selected winners from World Card Making Day!

We had an absolutely awesome day on Saturday…how about you? Hopefully, you all found lots of time to get crafty!

Congratulations to all the winners and thank you to everyone for playing along!
Winners, please email stephanie@mftstamps.com to claim your gift voucher.

Each week we see fantastic projects featuring My Favorite Things product, and we're always so thrilled to see what our customers and followers are creating!

Today, we'd like to shine the spotlight on some awesome projects that have caught our attention in another edition of You've Been Spotted If you see your project featured, feel free to post this image on your blog and link to this post to show the world that you were spotted by My Favorite Things!

Kim Hamilton

Kim created a gorgeous floral arrangement on her card front featuring the Wildflowers stamp set. We love the bright colors she used to bring her flowers to life, and the addition of the black sentiment strip adds great contrast to her design.

Marika Gewalli

We love seeing what you create with our collection of Cross-Stitch Die-namics, so this project by Marika immediately caught our eye. We love how she incorporated the tag onto her card design and stitched a pattern that coordinates with her stamped image and sentiment perfectly.

Linda van Wely

How sweet is this trio of adorable raccoons by Linda? The soft blue inking behind her main images in addition to the foam adhesive behind them, really make the cute critters the focus of the card. The black and white patterned paper is a great accent behind her stitched panel, and we love the pop of red she added in her stamped hearts.

Debra Lord

Debra created a cozy nighttime scene featuring the Our Story stamp set. We love all of the added details she included from the textured floor to the starry night sky behind her. The sweet kitty nestled on the chair is the perfect complement to this adorable design.

Beata Ng

Beata used a fun and colorful rainbow color palette on her card by combining strips of multiple card stock colors side by side on her circle element. We love the flat edge she created on one side with her main image added over top.

Supplies featured in today's cards:

Which design is your favorite this week? Be sure to leave these talented folks some love. And who knows? You might be spotted sometime soon!

Cheers to the New Year Card by Susan R. Opel featuring the Hand Lettered Holiday stamp set and the Layered Champagne Glass and Blueprints 25 Die-namics #mftstamps #wcmd2015
I'm not sure how many people actually send cards to celebrate the new year, but I'd like to make a toast to doing just that! The brand new Hand Lettered Holiday stamp set includes a New Year's sentiment, and that got me excited to use the Layered Champagne Glass Die-namics for the first time. With a touch of gold foil and bold and festive colors (inspired by a dress I saw in Glamour magazine), I loved making this celebratory greeting. Let me be the first to wish you an amazing 2016!

Happy World Card Making Day! - 6 pm EDT - Alice

Happy World  Card Making Day!

Since I love geography, we'll be seeing the Challenge Team throughout the day based on their location in the United States from east to west! Say hello to Alice Wertz who lives furthest west in the greater San Francisco area.

This is the eighth of nine posts on this blog today (every two hours from 4 am EDT to 8 pm EDT) where the MFT Challenge & Inspiration Team and our October Guest Designer will share Christmas and holiday cards and tips.

On each post, we'll be offering AWESOME prizes including My Favorite Things holiday favorites from the past as well as brand spanking new products from the October release that won't be available until next Tuesday. Yep, this is your chance for a sneak peek! Details for how you can get your to chance to win can be found later on in this post.

Here's a look at Alice's card!

Merry Little Santa Card by Alice Wertz featuring the Birdie Brown Jingle All the Way stamp set, Gift Tag Greetings stamp set, and Tag Builder Blueprints 4 Die-namics #mftstamps #wcmd2015
Let's see what Alice has to say about her card:

"Since I rarely use tags, I wanted to see if I could use the elements from the new Tag Builder Blueprints 4  Die-namics on a card. It turns out that the smaller shapes that are supposed to create the windows for the shaker tags are perfect for a fun layout!"

And Alice is so right. Your dies can do so many things; you just have to stretch your imagination!
