Wednesday Sketch Challenge - Sketch 222

Here we are starting a brand new month! We're not here to FOOL you. Nope, we're here to inspire you, so clear a spot on your desk and create something you love!

Below you'll find Sketch 222. Create cards, scrapbook layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this week's sketch and be sure to link your project below for a chance at the weekly My Favorite Things Gift Voucher worth up to $20.

Allow me to introduce our April Guest Designer, Heather Hoffman. Heather is a talented card maker and scrapbooker currently residing in Washington state. Let's give her a warm MFT Challenge & Inspiration welcome!

Heather has been participating in our challenges, and now you have the opportunity to be inspired by her designs. As a matter of fact, Heather's card that she submitted for Sketch 212 landed her an MFT Spotted spot!

Heather pulled out some of her favorite My Favorite Things products and created a beauty based on sketch 222.

Take a look at Heather's card and how she was inspired. While she changed the circle to a square (a simple change, right?), she left the intersecting flag intact. The flag perfectly underscores the sentiment and allows the sequins in her shaker a place to rest. Instead of stars surrounding the focal point, she opted for the gorgeous Scribbles Die-namics.

When it comes to our Challenge Team they just oooooze with talent. Buckle up for some awesome inspiration from these six creative chicas!

Alice's heart (rather than a circle) incorporates the cutest little shaker with adorable little stamped and colored bones swimming around with sequins. The adorable puppy peeking out is the perfect finishing touch!

Erin Lee embraced a super simple version of the sketch. Using only Die-namics and card stock, her card is as sweet as it is simple. What a ray of sunshine!

Inspired by the circle of the sketch, Jill gathered up a collection of colorful citrus (hey, in card making you can have blue fruit!) and inlaid the HECK out of the tag to create this concoction of saturated hues. The flag's still there, too, but set at an angle for a different approach.

Miriam flipped the sketch upside down in order to showcase the Television Die-namics. Super duper LOVE how her little retro bursts from the Stay Tuned stamp set stand in for the stars of the sketch. And that tiny pop of red makes this card Emmy Award-winning.

Vera's little kitty is dreaming of something yummy! And the shaker she created is filled with the results of that dream fish bones and sparkly happiness represented by glitter and sequins in her little tummy!

Springy pastels make this special card by Veronica shine. She chose to showcase a garden of tulips in the focal point rounded square using the Die-namics Inside & Outside Stitched Rounded Square STAX. What a lovely card this would be to celebrate Easter!

Congratulations, Inkspot@Papillon! You are the randomly selected winner of last week’s sketch challenge. You can view all the entries for last week’s challenge HERE.

You have until Tuesday, April 7th, at noon EDT to add your link and be eligible for the prize of up to $20 in MFT Cash to be spent in the MFT boutique. The weekly prize is a $15 Gift Voucher to My Favorite Things, but if you use MFT stamps and/or dies in your project, you’ll receive an extra $5.

We'll also occasionally feature cool interpretations of the sketch on the blog and give shout outs to fun, unique, and noteworthy projects. Who knows? You might be SPOTTED! Share your cards on InstagramTwitter, and Facebook using the hashtag #mftstamps.
