A wonderful Wednesday welcome to the newest sketch in town from My Favorite Things!
Below you'll find Sketch 225. Create cards, scrapbook layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this week's sketch and be sure to link your project below for a chance at the weekly My Favorite Things Gift Voucher worth up to $20.
Heather admits to being a little stumped with the Spring Garden Die-namics, but I think you will agree that her interpretation turned out quite lovely. As she quipped, "I love a good challenge!" Perhaps you've been on the fence about ordering it, but her card (and Veronica's) just might change your mind!
Let's see what Heather saw when she checked out this week's sketch!
Heather used the strip in the lower third of the sketch as her focal point with her sentiment and potted flowers. I love how the stitched vellum created a soft background, and the stitching makes it feel homey and perfectly handmade.
The Challenge Team keeps amazing me with their innovation and talent! Let's see what they are up to this week.
How about a little bit of oooooh la la from Erin Lee? This stunner is a die cutting extravaganza using an array of Die-namics. I love how she used the Ride the Wave die to add a lilt to the straight rectangle in the sketch.
Apparently Jill was feeling dotty this week! She used two Cover-up Die-namics featuring different dot sizes (Jumbo Dot and Polka Dot) and then cut the Polka Dot Cover-up at an interesting angle with the Stitched Basic Edges Die-namics. This would be a fun way to use up your scraps!
Vera's sweet little miss sunshine from the Sunflower Sweetheart stamp set is standing right on the seam of the green and white making her appear grounded and not floating. I love how her hat goes off the side of the card just a little bit giving her a 3-D appearance.
Congratulations, Jenni (Mom2Two)! You are the randomly selected winner of last week’s sketch challenge. You can view all the entries for last week’s challenge HERE.
