Below you'll find Sketch 226. Create cards, scrapbook layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this week's sketch and be sure to link your project below for a chance at the weekly My Favorite Things Gift Voucher worth up to $20.

Heather Hoffman MFT Guest Designer April 2105
Our April Guest Designer Heather Hoffman is with us one more time today. Hasn't she been an absolute joy? It's been so fun to see what she came up with each week. Heather did such an awesome showcasing our products, and we're so glad that we got to share her talent with you! You can keep up with her at her blog Houses Built of Cards

In May we'll have a new guest designer all the way from South America. We're excited to see what she brings to the table!
Stay tuned!

Find Joy Card from Heather Hoffman featuring the LJD You're the Sweetest stamp set and Die-namics

Heather turned the tag of the sketch into a panel and offset the line to the left. Do you see how she slightly notched the card stock panel at the top and bottom? That's a great trick for helping string stay in place and not slip. And isn't this a super delicious color combination?

The Challenge Team had fun with the sketch this week (don't they ALWAYS?). Let's see what creative things they have up their sleeves.

Gnome TV Star Card from Alice Wertz featuring the BB You Gnome Me stamp set and Die-namics and Television Die-namics.

Alice turned the sketch on the side and did something AWFULLY clever. We expect to see gnomes in the garden, but it appears that this cutie has some star qulaity. Alice has him peeking out of the screen from the Television Die-namics.

More than the Sun Card from Erin Lee Schreiner featuring the I Love You More stamp set and Gerbera Daisy Die-namics

Erin Lee played around with color and makes her tag SHINE with a sentiment from the I Love You More stamp set. She cleverly use the Gerbera Daisy Die-namics here to emulate sunshine. LOVE that.
Think Happy Card from Jill Dewey Hawkins featuring the Totally Happy stamp set and Proof Positive Cover-Up Die-namics

Jill's card is positively fun with a cool tag she's dressed up with the Proof Positive Cover-Up Die-namics. Playing with dies is always a plus, don't you agree?

You Make My Heart Beat from Miriam Prantner featuring the Keep on Rockin' Stamp set and Photo Booth Props Die-namics

Make the tag of the sketch your focal point with heart. I SUPER love how Miriam stamped the sentiment on the die cut heart and then popped it up with foam tape to matched the stamped sentiment on the tag itself. I'm going to have to try that!
Beyond Happy Card from Vera Wirianta Yates featuring the Totally Happy stamp set and Floral Fusion Cover-Up Die-namics

Vera added a second tag to her card for an added bit of oomph. Those tags became a fun place to experiment with ink and inlaid die cutting. And the enamel dots are the perfect finishing touch!

What's the Scoop Card from Veronica Zalis featuring the LJD You're the Sweetest stamp set and DIe-namics

Veronica's card is a pretty direct take on the sketch and nothing short of ADORABLE. I love how she made the strawberry ice cream cone into a shaker card. Learn more about making shaker cards by visiting our YouTube channel today!
