You've Been Spotted! June 30, 2015

Each week we see gorgeous projects featuring My Favorite Things product, and we're always so thrilled to see what our customers and followers are creating.

Today, we'd like to shine the spotlight on some fantastic projects that have caught our attention in another edition of You've Been Spotted. Grab something tasty to drink and get ready to ooooooh and aaaaah over some of the lovely cards we've noticed recently.

If you see your card featured, feel free to post this image on your blog and link to this post to show the world that you were spotted by My Favorite Things!

Nina-Marie got two votes from Design Team member Julie Dinn and Challenge Team member Erin Lee Schreiner. Julie said, "I LOVE this card," and Erin Lee said, "This one is insane." Nina-Marie made this card just for fun because she loves the Penguins in Paradise stamp set.

Isha's card does double duty as an entry for the Summer School Line lesson and Color Challenge 24. Design Team member Karolyn Loncon says, "It's simple but executed beautifully!"

Karli created this card as homework for the Line lesson during our MFT Summer School session. I especially loved that she took the time to explain what she had learned by saying, " This lesson was really interesting for me because the idea of "Line" isn't something I generally think about when I'm creating my cards. I decided that I would show line by tilting the edges of my top layer of cardstock to bring the eye toward the mid-bottom right corner of the card (focal point.)"

Elizabeth created this cutie for Sketch 231 on the MFT Challenge & Inspiration blog. Challenge Team member Jill Dewey Hawkins felt that this card was very well done!

Cammy created this card for the MFT Summer School Rule of Thirds lesson. She used the grid that Kimberly Crawford talked about in her video for the lesson that day, and the clouds and top arc of the rainbow each hit one of the lines of thirds. Challenge Team member Veronica Zalis says, "Using sequins to create clouds is a really fun out-of-the-box way to add pizzazz to her card! Rainbows make me happy."

EunJi likes the Penguins in Paradise stamp set, too, so it seems. Challenge Team member Vera Wirianta Yates had this to say about her card, "The watercoloring scene she created is simply fabulous and so detailed. She even added a shadow for the penguin!"

Thanks for using MFT, ladies! You've left us inspired, and that's what it's all about!

See you tomorrow for the next Sketch Challenge, and look for a new MFT Color Challenge on Thursday July 9th!

Which design is your favorite? Be sure to leave these ladies some love. And who knows? You might be spotted sometime soon!
