As another month comes to an end, we must bid adieu to our super sweet and uber talented July Guest Designer Kalyn Kepner. If you've enjoyed seeing Kalyn's designs, be sure to follow her blog at Paper is Love.
Be sure to check back next week as we introduce another creative paper crafter who has been inspiring me for years. I'm sure you'll find her projects phenomenal, and I can't wait to see how she interprets our sketches here at the MFT Challenge & Inspiration blog.
Let's look at how Kalyn interpreted her final sketch with us:
The large central circle of the sketch looked like a balloon to Kalyn, so she pulled out her Blueprints 26 Die-namics. I love how she added accents with the Party Patterns stamp set and a cutie pie sentiment from the Birthday Wishes & Balloons stamp set. So colorful and FESTIVE!
The Challenge Team is at it again with inspiring creations. Let's see how they interpreted Sketch 239!
Alice is getting a jump start on her Christmas cards with this super fun Christmas in July design featuring the Jingle All the Way stamp set and Die-namics. The snowy circle is the perfect backdrop for Jolly Old St. Nick who seems to be jumping for JOY!
These days a large circle on a card design simply says, "Make me a shaker card, please!" Erin Lee was happy to oblige with this stunning and girly card featuring the magnificent Roses All Over background stamp. The shimmering pink sequins amidst all of the black and white truly make a statement in this opulent design.
Jill's shaker card is a completely different ballgame with beads and a quirky sunbathing penguin from the Penguins in Paradise set. I love all of her little details that add interest to the card — from the background stamping to the stenciled panel to her signature wonky stitching. Such FUN!
Miriam elongated the circle into an oval that serves as a backdrop for our sweet guy bear-ing gifts. I love how she featured paper from our Plaid Patterns Paper Pack as a soft and subtle background.
Vera created a pretty window with the Jumbo Peek-a-Boo Circle Windows Die-namics to feature her elegant flamigo. I love how she placed a flower from the Modern Blooms stamp set in the place of the smaller circle of the sketch.
Veronica's labor of love is a delight rendition of this week's sketch with pretty pastels, intricate heat embossing, and a splendid butterfly. The touches of black add a modern sophistication to her design.
Watch for shout outs on the blog every Tuesday, too! We'll feature fun, unique, clever, and noteworthy projects submitted using MFT products with design tips and trend talk. Who knows? You might be SPOTTED! Share your cards on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook using the hashtag #mftstamps.
