You've Been Spotted - July 28, 2015

Each week we see fantastic projects featuring My Favorite Things product, and we're always so thrilled to see what our customers and followers are creating!

Today, we'd like to shine the spotlight on some fantastic projects that have caught our attention in another edition of You've Been Spotted. Sit a spell and get ready to ooooooh and aaaaah over some of the cool cards we've noticed recently.

If you see your card featured, feel free to post this image on your blog and link to this post to show the world that you were spotted by My Favorite Things!

Original Card by BA Yurkanin featuring the Laina Lamb Designs All-Star High Tops Die-namics #mftstamps

I spotted this super cool card by BA in one of our Facebook groups. Beside the fact that this card is pretty awesome, there's a fun story behind it, too. BA says, "Philadelphia has a very popular radio DJ who is famous for wearing Converse canvas sneakers. On his morning show, he often comments on his vast selection which includes tie dye and glittered options. When my husband saw that I purchased the sneaker die, he begged me to make a card so that we could send it to this DJ... MFT - thanks for making such great products!" I can't wait to hear how the DJ likes the card!

Cannot Espresso Card by Clare Prezzia featuring the Laina Lamb Designs Perk Up stamp set and Coffee Cup Die-namics #mftstamps

Design Team Member Teri Anderson spotted Clare's card which she had meant to submit to the Wednesday Sketch Challenge 236, but she missed the deadline by two hours. #bummer Clare used a glassine bag and instant coffee for this inventive take on a shaker card. Teri says this, "A shaker card + coffee = a big win in my book! This is a clever and out of the box idea for a shaker card. Bravo, Clare!" I bet it smells pretty good, too!

Beary Special Day Card by Lindsay Amrhein featuring the Birdie Brown Birthday Bears stamp set and Die-namics #mftstamps

Challenge Team member Vera Wirianta Yates spotted Lindsay's sweet card as an entry for Sketch Challenge 237. Vera says, "I love this one from Lindsay. Simple, but sweet. And, I love the way she makes the bear hold a heart."

You're the Coolest Pineapple Decor by Marcia Dehn-Nix featuring the Birdie Brown Penguins in Paradise stamp set and Die-namics #mftstamps

Challenge Team member Jill Dewey Hawkins spotted this spectacular creation by Marcia as part of our team up with the design team from Xyron. Marcia outlines how she put this all together HERE. Jill was rendered nearly speechless and simply said, "Holy man alive!"

Circular Paw Print Card by Nina-Marie Trapini featuring the Birdie Brown I Knead You stamp set #mftstamps

Design Team Member Kay Miller found this adorable circular kitty card by Nina-Marie on her blog. Nina and her friend Ellen (who lives in Belgium) had a crafting session over Skype, and this is what she created. Don't you just love our community of crafters? Kay says about this card, "I love the way Nina-Marie colored the kittens, and the little round scene she created is just amazing!"

Thanks for using MFT, ladies! You've left us inspired, and that's what it's all about!

See you tomorrow for the next Sketch Challenge, and look for a new MFT Color Challenge on Thursday, August 13th!

Which design is your favorite? Be sure to leave these ladies some love. And who knows? You might be spotted sometime soon!
