You've Been Spotted - April 12, 2016

Each week we see fantastic projects featuring My Favorite Things product, and we're always so thrilled to see what our customers and followers are creating!

Today, we'd like to shine the spotlight on some awesome projects that have caught our attention in another edition of  You've Been Spotted. Sit a spell and get ready to ooooooh and aaaaah over some of the cool designs we've noticed recently.

If you see your project featured, feel free to post this image on your blog and link to this post to show the world that you were spotted by My Favorite Things!

Stephen Kropf

Warm & Fuzzy Friends Card Kit - Stephen Kropf #mftstamps

I spotted Stephen's card on Instagram following #mftstamps, and I believe he's our very first male to make it into the spotted post! Stephen loves the Warm & Fuzzy Friends Card Kit and created this fun card using it. He even posted a great YouTube video HERE showing how he watercolored the images with the Peerless Watercolors included with the kit.

Wiebke Zander

Birds of Paradise stamp set and Die-namics - Wiebke Zander #mftstamps

Wiebke's colorful card appeared in our Flickr Group (check it out!). I love how she colored the pretty bird from the Birds of Paradise stamp set. This is a pretty direct take on Sketch 268. According to her blog post, a friend lent her the set as a challenge. I think she did a great job!

Jill Dewey Hawkins

Lisa Johnson Designs For the Boys stamp set, Stitched Traditional Tag STAX, Chunky Chevron Cover-Up, Stitched Fishtail Banner STAX, and Blueprints 24 Die-namics - Jill Dewey Hawkins #mftstamps

Jill submitted this trendy card as an entry for Sketch 270, but there's another level of coolness to her design. She patterned the colors and design of her card based on a top that Julianna Margulies wore on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. You can see her inspiration piece HERE.

Pam Sparks

Birdie Brown Merry Christmoose stamp set and Die-namics, Homespun Stitch Lines Die-namics - Pam Sparks #mftstamps

Pam submitted her card as an entry for Sketch 274. I love the warm and cozy feel of her design, and the knotted twine at the bottom of the line of her card really ties things up perfectly! I love how she used the blanket stitch from the Homespun Stitch Lines Die-namics on two sides of a strip that she inked up to match her design. Clever!

Vanessa Menhorn

Birdie Brown Somebunny stamp set and Die-namics, Rolling Hills and Zig Zag Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics - Vanessa Menhorn #mftstamps

Vanessa's adorable springtime card was a submission for Sketch 272. It's fun to see all of the inspiring projects that are made with our sketches! There's a sweet simplicity to this design that makes it stand out, but Vanessa doesn't skimp on details. The inventive die cutting of the circle and hills and the little cotton tail give this card a little something extra special.

Thanks for using MFT, ladies (and gentleman!)! You've left us inspired, and that's what it's all about! See you tomorrow for another great Sketch Challenge, and look for the next MFT Color Challenge this Thursday, April 14th!

Which design is your favorite this week? Be sure to leave these ladies (and Stephen!) some love. And who knows? You might be spotted sometime soon!
